With over 30 years of experience the field of ear, nose, throat, and facial plastic surgery, you’re in good hands with Dr. Pulliam and his top-notch staff. He is a current Fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology/Head & Neck Surgery and the Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, as well as a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. A graduate of Bowman Gray School of Medicine (now known as Wake Forest School of Medicine), Dr. Pulliam completed training in Otolaryngology (E.N.T.) and Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Oregon Health Sciences University of Portland under Dr. Ted Cook.
After earning board certification for Ear, Nose, Throat, (E.N.T.), Dr. Pulliam trained in Tampa, Florida with Facial Plastic pioneer, Richard T. Farrior, M.D. Taking what he learned back to Anchorage, Alaska, Dr. Pulliam practiced from 1984-1990 and started a family. In 1990 he moved on to build an award-winning medical practice in Sarasota, Florida. During ten years of practice from 1990-2000 Dr. Andrew R. Pulliam M.D. was listed among “The Best Doctors in America” and “The Best Doctors in The Southeast” as well as being named Sarasota Memorial Hospital’s Chief of Surgery from 1997-1998. In 2000 the allure of Alaska brought him back to live and practice in the Mat-Su Valley. Dr. Pulliam has been treating Alaskans and their ear, nose, throat, and facial plastics needs ever since.

About Jennifer Lemert, ANP
Jennifer Lemert, Family Nurse Practitioner, graduated nursing school from University of Maryland at Baltimore in 1991. For 5 years, she worked in Surgical Oncology at the National Institutes of Health, and in emergency departments as temporary nursing staff. In the mid 1990’s, she was mobilized with the US Public Health Service to Crown Point New Mexico to help respond to the Hanta Virus outbreak. It was this experience that lead her to pursue her training as a Nurse Practitioner. In 1997, she graduated from Georgetown University with a Masters in Science as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Since, she has worked in family practice, orthopedic, urgent care, emergency department, and otorhinolaryngology/facial plastic specialty areas. She has enjoyed working in the Matsu Valley, initially at AIC from 1999 to 2008, and now with Dr. Andrew Pulliam. Jennifer is married, has two fantastic boys, and they reside in Anchorage.
